1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using The Monitoring Center (TMC) services, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Services Provided

The Monitoring Center provides professional alarm monitoring and security services including but not limited to:

• 24/7 alarm monitoring services
• Emergency response coordination
• Mobile application access
• Technical support and maintenance
• Security system installation and upgrades

3. Service Agreement

3.1 Term and Termination

Service agreements are typically for a minimum term as specified in your service contract. Early termination may result in applicable fees as outlined in your specific service agreement.

3.2 Payment Terms

Monthly monitoring fees are due in advance. Late payments may result in service suspension and additional fees. All prices are subject to change with 30 days written notice.

3.3 Equipment

Equipment provided remains the property of TMC unless purchased outright. Customers are responsible for reasonable care of equipment and may be charged for damage or loss.

4. Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree to:

• Provide accurate contact information and keep it updated
• Test the alarm system regularly as instructed
• Notify TMC immediately of any system malfunctions
• Provide access for installation, maintenance, and service calls
• Use the system in accordance with provided instructions

5. Limitations of Liability

While TMC strives to provide reliable monitoring services, we cannot guarantee prevention of loss, damage, or injury. Our liability is limited to the monthly monitoring fee. TMC is not responsible for:

• Failure of telephone or internet service
• Power outages affecting system operation
• Acts of nature or circumstances beyond our control
• Improper use or maintenance of equipment

6. Privacy Policy

TMC respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. We collect only necessary information to provide our services and do not share personal data with third parties except as required for emergency response or as required by law.

7. Modifications to Terms

TMC reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Customers will be notified of significant changes via email or written notice. Continued use of services after notification constitutes acceptance of modified terms.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the state in which services are provided. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration or in the appropriate state courts.
